In 1987, local resident Doug Sherry created The Illustrated Map of Asheville. In 2020, new owners Alan Kirkpatrick and Brady Shroeder continue the tradition. For 32 years, this has been the most popular visitor map of the area, in print and online. This year we will distribute more than 500,000 printed maps.
